This course will give you the knowledge, skills and attitude required to safely handle handguns. Meets the requirements for a Connecticut Concealed Carry Permit. Classes fill quickly and limited in seating so book your class as far in advance as you can to reserve your spot. Classes are limited to 8 students and no exceptions will be made. All certificates will be isssued the day of class so don't forget your pistol permit applications from your local police department.
The course is designed to teach the basics of pistol marksmanship. You will learn the functions of the different kinds of handguns and ammunition. The course emphasizes firearms safety while teaching the techniques of sight alignment, breath, hold, and trigger control.
This 8 hour course offers a solid base upon which a student can safely build their shooting skills and includes shooting time on the range. All course materials including targets will be provided. A firearm and ammunition will be provided. A certificate of training will be awarded to each participant who successfully completes the course .
This course meets the State of Connecticut/Florida and Commonwealth of Massachusetts requirements for a concealed carry permit.
The Florida Concealed Weapons Permit now is honored in more States ANY OTHER PERMIT. Florida permits are honored in Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia,
Washington, West Virginia, Wyoming.

Lunch or a Snack, Non-Alcoholic Drinks are permitted
Connecticut Pistol Permit Application if you don't already have a copy. If you need a copy a you can obtain a pistol permit application packet from your local police department. They are usually readily available at the front desk. (We will help you fill out the form properly and answer any questions you may have during class.)
You may bring a lunch and something to drink. We take a short break to eat or you may go out to get food at any one of the nearby places to eat between the morning classroom session and the afternoon range time.
